LAWNCARE
It is important to use a feed, weed and moss killer product in the spring to promote a lush, weed free lawn into the summer. This 3 in 1 treatment will kick start the lawn by;
FEED – This will strengthen and thicken the grass and encourage new growth in turn preparing the lawn to withstand periods of drought in the summer. The grass will also ‘green up’ and look healthier.
WEED - The weed killer contained in the formula will kill most existing weeds in the lawn without harming the grass.
MOSS KILLER - The moss will turn black within a few days and die off and can then be raked out of the lawn and disposed of. The grass will normally spread back into these areas now light and air can get to it. |

Your programme of lawncare should continue into the summer. Spot treat persistent weeds with ‘Verdone’ or ‘Resolver’ weed killers for lawns. Both of these treatments will not harm the grass and target a wide range of common weeds including dandelions, daisies, white clover and lesser trefoil. Both are available in ‘ready to use’ or concentrated versions.
‘Aftercut’ (by Westlands) should be used as the season progresses and focuses on conditioning and feeding the lawn throughout the summer months. As its name suggests use ‘Aftercut’ after mowing between now and September to develop the lawns stamina and help maintain a strong, healthy, green lawn all summer long! |
