‘Grow Your Own’ is a much-used phrase these days but here at Monkton elm we really believe it’s a richly rewarding experience. Even if you garden in a small space it’s possible to harvest fresh vegetables year-round. Many can be successfully grown in containers with a little care, and it’s a great way to show your children where their food comes from and involve them in a healthy activity.
Herbs can be easily maintained on a sunny windowsill or outside the kitchen door for easy access. Used regularly they will produce new growth again and again.
We have just started our range of vegetable seedlings in strips - there will be an ever widening selection in the weeks to come - we will keep you posted! |
