Chance to find out what pet is right for you

PEOPLE from Somerset are being invited to a garden centre in the county this month (May, 2010) to get some free advice on what type of pet is right for them.
Staff at the Pet and Reptile Centre at Monkton Elm Garden & Pet Centre are hosting ‘handle a pet’ sessions on Saturday, May 29 for anyone who is thinking about buying an animal.
Liz Woodward, Pet and Reptile Centre Manager, explained: “We have hosted several ‘handle a pet’ sessions in the past and they are always very popular.
“We find that lots of people are keen to own a pet, but don’t always appreciate the amount of time and money needed to care for different types of animals.
“Therefore, we thought that we would help people decide what would be the best pet to suit their lifestyle by bringing in our own animals and sharing our experiences with visitors.”
The ‘handle a pet sessions’ at the Pet and Reptile Centre at Monkton Elm Garden & Pet Centre will run from 11am until 4pm on Saturday, May 29.
