KEEN, novice and armchair gardeners looking for inspiration and advice regarding Grow Your Own (GYO) are invited to a new book area launched this month (June, 2010) at Monkton Elm Garden & Pet Centre.
The award-winning garden centre in Monkton Heathfield between Bridgwater and Taunton, Somerset has dedicated half its book section to GYO titles this year to help meet customer demand.
Norma Moore, General Manager of the award-winning garden centre, explained: “GYO is bigger than ever this year and gardeners of all abilities and ages are clamouring to get the latest books on the topic.
“We have more than 30 titles regarding GYO currently on our shelves and have created an area dedicated to the subject, which we think is one of the largest for a garden centre in the Westcountry.
“We stock all the general fashionable titles available at the moment such as Alys Fowler’s ‘The Edible Garden’ and some more unusual ones too. There’s something for everyone.”
To find out more, please visit Monkton Elm Garden & Pet Centre, which is located just off the A38 at Monkton Heathfield near Taunton, or call 01823 412381.
