|
|
SMALL animal owners from Somerset are being invited to get free advice from a vet at a garden centre in the county this month (July, 2010).
Veterinary Surgeon, Joanna Evans will be visiting the Pet and Reptile Centre at Monkton Elm Garden & Pet Centre on Wednesday, July 28 to chat to visitors about their pets.
Liz Woodward, Pet and Reptile Centre Manager, explained: “We are delighted that Joanna, who works at Morley Veterinary Centre in Taunton, is joining us at the garden centre to answer visitors’ questions about the health of their animals.
“Although treatment will not be on offer during the day, Joanna will be able to examine any small pets brought along by visitors and will be offering advice on their weight, diet and general wellbeing.”
Joanna will be at the Pet and Reptile Centre at Monkton Elm Garden & Pet Centre on Wednesday, July 28 from 11am until 3pm and visitors who wish to speak to her about their animals can drop in at any time during the day.
Liz added: “We hope that lots of pet owners will come along to meet Joanna and take advantage of her expert advice.”
