There will also a chance to buy the increasingly popular Membership package for the show, which includes easy entry on both days, access to the Members’ Marquee, a free programme and competition schedule and preferential car parking. Reduced price day passes will also be on sale.
Other highlights of the day will include a chance to capture some great photos in the Selfie Frame for inclusion in the new People of Taunton Flower Show project using the hashtag #tfsselfie. The team will be looking for feedback on what everyone enjoys most at the show and recording their best memories.
Taunton Flower Show takes place on Friday 4th and Saturday 5th August, when once again Taunton’s picturesque Vivary Park will play host to the UK’s oldest, longest-running flower show; a great day out proving as popular as ever for the whole family, where children go FREE!
With food and craft areas (including rural crafting demonstrations), a Children’s Village, Gardeners’ Question Time, wine tasting, honey-making, a brass band, choir and live music; there will be plenty going on to entertain old and young alike. This year’s arena acts are the hugely entertaining Bob Hogg with his Lamb Nationals and Dog and Duck Show and the Xtreme Stunt Team where motorbike and bicycle riders perform death-defying stunts.
Along with over 200 traders selling a variety of merchandise from handcrafted gifts to garden equipment and furniture, this really is an event that includes something for everyone, young and old alike.
