Plant Of The Month - September - Ornamental Grasses

Ornamental grasses come into their own during September, the early morning light shines through their feathery flower stems, and the taller varieties sway in the slightest breeze. There are ornamental grasses for damp or dry soil, shady and sunny situations. Many perform well in containers, and the evergreen varieties give structure to the late autumn garden.
