Wlidlife Weekend 2017

June 28, 2017

Come and join our pet cuddle club team and the staff from Exmoor Zoo on the 29th & 30th July between the hours of 10am and 4pm. Learn about how you can help the marine wildlife in our oceans whilst recycling the things we use every day doing fun activities.

Throughout the year we have been raising money for The Marine Conservation Society (MCS) who are the voices for everyone who loves the sea, they work hard to secure a future for our living seas, and to save our threatened marine wildlife.

So here at Monkton Elm Pet & Craft Centre, we have decided to do various crafts, activities and fun days for all the family to help this great cause.

During our Wildlife weekend, you can expect to see lots of creepy crawlies who are natural decomposers, small furries, micro pigs and even some scaly creatures too.

Also attending this event are Secret World who will be bringing birds of prey and Reptile South West (RSW) who will be challenging people to face their fears with snakes and other reptiles.

We have lots of things to keep the kids busy including a free bottle garden workshop which shows you how to recycle plastic bottles in an amazing way, a treasure trail where the children can learn eye-opening facts about the plastic decomposing in the oceans, sea themed face painting, make your own Decopatch sea creature in the craft centre, a tombola and much more.
We will also have LQF photography coming in to take pictures of you or your pets and you can even get your photo printed instantly for a small charge.

This is a great day for all of the family whilst supporting a great cause so do not miss out even if you just want to take a glance at the ridiculous outfits the Pet and Craft Centre team have planned. We look forward to seeing you!
